Wednesday, March 16, 2011OUR HOME - ON ST PATRICK'S DAY
Oh you should have been here this morning!
We get up around 5:30, my husband called me outside "Quick, run out here and bring the camera and DON'T YELL" Hanging half down from our roof was a SNAKE with a rat with its tail still swishing, disappearing into the Snake's mouth. I took a photo, and ran back inside and locked the doors. The picture is very blurry and my Grandkids will be disappointed. Then a little bit later I ventured out and saw the beauty of a very still, peaceful morning. I know this is called the Sandpaper plant, and it is a climber. Then I swung my camera down to the River and I saw what I thought was a bright light of some kind, then I realized it was the sun just coming up and shining on a Palm, and I kinda wanted the whole world to see it. Happy I saw all the beautiful things in Nature, dulled the snake imagine - but then some folks would have loved to have witnessed that - not this little duck! Don't forget to click on the images.

Saturday, March 12, 2011CRAFT PARTYTHANK YOU SPOTLIGHT we had such a great day at the Craft Party and it was fun being able to teach so many Crafters how to use The Butterfly Loom. We were able to make enough squares for a Throw for a little girl and her baby sister, and next Craft Party we will make a Throw for the little brother. These little children were caught up in the Grantham Floods, and we thought they might like their very own Throws. It was a pleasure to be able to walk around and help folk choose 3 bags full of yarn for their very own Throw. Thanks for a great day. Click on the pictures

My Invitation hasn't arrived yet., a bit worried - has anyone else received their Invitation? I do like the top Scarf though, it's intriguing. BUT you know, I would rather spend a day at Spotlight with my real friends...

Thursday, March 3, 2011Tuesday, March 1, 2011CREEPING AROUNDWe live in the sub-Tropics and have experienced 20" rain during the last month. So lovely to find these beautiful flowers poking out through foliage this morning, creeping here there and everywhere. Notice the grey sky, and the weather man said "more rain".
